The National Living Wage (not to be confused with the national minimum wage) is going up this week by 2.8% making it £9.00 per hour.

If your employer is one of the organisations committed to the ‘Real living wage’ you could be in line for a pay-rise. Real living wage employers in London will pay an extra 3.4%, bringing the minimum hourly rate to £10.55.

The rate is independently calculated, to reflect what people need to spend to feed, clothe and house themselves.
