Key Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support across the business
• Coordinating customer projects from initial instruction through to completion
• Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Using Excel for data analysis, reporting, pivot tables and maintaining trackers
• Preparing sales, performance and management information
• Maintaining accurate customer and commercial information on internal systems
• Supporting customer account management and responding to enquiries
• Assisting with proposals, presentations and customer review documentation
• Raising and managing purchase orders and associated documentation
• Coordinating activities between different departments to ensure deadlines are achieved
• Assisting with project administration and following up actions
• Supporting logistics, returns and operational activities where required
• Liaising with Finance regarding costs, performance and reporting
• Carrying out market and competitor research
• Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and business efficiency
• Providing additional operational and administrative support as required

Person Specification

• Previous experience within an operations administration, commercial support, sales administration, business support or customer service role
• Strong Excel skills are essential
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable liaising with colleagues and customers at all levels
• Proactive and willing to get involved across different areas of the business
• Able to work independently whilst also being a strong team player
• Experience using CRM or similar business systems
• Commercially aware with a practical approach to problem solving
