Part Time Project Manager

The role is part of a team responding to client briefs, preparing proposals and the delivery of events for clients. The role carries significant opportunities for career advancement.

Job Description:

• Handling client requests and preparing client proposals
• Manage and effect the research, availability and prices at hotels, restaurants and event venues
• Support marketing and product development activities
• Assist with ensuring that briefs are responded to in a timely and effective fashion
• Assisting in maximising conversion rates and margins
• Account management with regular agency partners and clients
• Managing suppliers, contracts and Service Level Agreements
• Responsibility for the smooth and effective running of multiple projects
• Preparation and maintenance of Working Documents
• Represent company policy and requirements
• Deal with delegate, client and consumer queries and requirements
• Assist with office administration including maintaining client and supplier databases, supplier payments and credit control
• On-site co-ordination of events and management of suppliers and staff at events

Person specification:

• Requires a minimum of A-Level education with 4 years’ work experience or degree level with a minimum of 2 years work experience
• Experience of the travel or event industries are a distinct advantage
• Computer Literate – Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Dropbox, Pipedrive
• A knowledge of London and its hotels and venues is an advantage
• Good communication and writing skills
• Keen to learn and progress career
• Good planning and organisational skills with attention to detail
• The ability to time-manage and prioritise work efficiently
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
