Trainee IFA

Job Description:

• Generating New Clients
• Has a plan to generate new client referrals and acts upon it
• Establishes rapport and manages ongoing relationships with Professional Connections, including generating new referrals
• Managing Client relationships
• Able to conduct proficient exploratory calls with potential clients
• Able to adapt to different client types, recognising when a client is and isn’t appropriate for the business
• Gains commitment to sign up
• Manages fee expectations
• Attends client meetings
• Takes notes and makes asset statements after meetings
• Analyzes information, makes appropriate recommendations, and communicates them clearly through suitability letters
• Can work to hourly fee target

 Person Specification:

• Must have IFA experience in an admin or trainee paraplanning capacity, desire to work towards becoming an IFA
• Well spoken, articulate, comfortable liaising with UHNW clients
• Has high ethical standards
• Knowledgeable of financial services products and adheres in line with FCA rules

Additional Information:

• Based in Farnham
• Salary: 25-35,000 (DOE, education and professional qualifications)
• Mon – Friday 9-5.30pm
• Full support in acquiring industry qualifications
