Service Coordinator

Our client is a privately owned company situated in Leatherhead, seeking a Service Coordinator to join its team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling reactive and routine preventative planned maintenance works in an organised and timely manner. • Based in Leatherhead
• 8:30 – 5:30 & Friday 8:30 – 4:30pm

Job specification:

• Responding to customer enquiries.
• Generating quotes for labour and materials for both existing and new customers.
• Processing reactive and PPM orders.
• Allocating labour and materials on consultation with the Service Manager.
• Arranging attendance dates with customers for both reactive and routine PPM works.
• Populating engineer’s diaries with all information required to complete works.
• Ensuring engineers are on schedule and have sufficient information, parts, and materials.
• Booking flights, accommodation and vehicle hire for works overseas, as, and when required.
• Identifying opportunities for new equipment and planned maintenance.

Person specification:

• Be flexible within your role and be able to step outside the remit of your job description from time to time to meet the company’s needs or requirements.
• Apply your knowledge and experience to unfamiliar technical or operational situations and deliver practicable, workable, and effective solutions.
• Provide cover for other members of staff during holidays and absences.
• Be capable of problem solving both technically and operationally to meet the needs of the business.
• Promote our products and services over the phone and on-site during service visits.
• Communicate well both verbally and in writing.

Additional Information:

• £25,000
• Based in Leatherhead
• Mon – Fri, 37hrs per week
