Job Specification:

• Reviewing the scope of present and future product lines by evaluating product specifications and requirements
• Appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes
• Assessing and researching customer needs and desires by specifying the research needed
• Assessing market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitors products
• Preparing product sales forecasts and reports for analyse by senior management
• Working with the Sales Director to determine pricing, utilising marketing price research data
• Reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume using past data
• Generate new ideas that grow market share and improve customer experience
• Working with sales and marketing to provide launch product benefit for product launch.

Person Specification:

• Must be a graduate or equivalent degree in a science-based subject
• Demonstratable product development or formulations experience ideally within a relevant sector
• Ability to lead complex projects
• Able to align stakeholders to decisions/recommendations
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and constant interruptions
• Excellent communication skills both written and orally
• Computer skills necessary; email, Microsoft Office
• Highly organised and enjoy managing a busy and varied workload

Additional Information:

• Based in Epsom
• £24,000 + bonuses (OTE £32k)
• Performance related uncapped commission, paid monthly
• On-site parking
• Monday – Friday, 8am – 5:30pm
• 21 days holiday and plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days after 3 years service)
