Legal Administration Assistant

6 month contract

This role would suit a strong administrator who is looking to work for a professional organisation in an interesting and involved role.

Assisting the Legal Services department with the provision of Legal Services to the organisation as a whole.

Job Description:

• Assist with the Legal Services function, including administrative systems and appropriate filing systems.
• Administration of deeds in and out including logging receipt, checking and despatch and the maintenance of relevant records.
• Assistance with the administration, proper use and locking/storing of the company’s seal.
• Assist with the data inputting and checking of information.
• Assist with the use of web based applications and downloading of information.
• Conduct Land Registry searches.
• Liaise with external suppliers and maintain business relationships with third parties as required.
• Attend Internal or External meetings as required.
• Undertake any other related tasks requested by the Manager Legal Services or his/her Line Superiors.

• Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong administration skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• An ability to learn quickly and take the initiative.
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a small team.
• Flexible approach

Additional Information:

• Based in Epsom
• £22,000 – £24,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
