Accountancy Team Leader

Working for our prestigious client in their Leatherhead office. They are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the role of Accountancy Team Leader. You will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring our junior staff while ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

• Based in Leatherhead
• £45,000 – £50,000
• Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm

Job specification:

• Oversee and review management accounts for both UK and multi-national companies, providing expert guidance and support.
• Provide insightful advice on VAT and PAYE matters, including meticulous review of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns.
• Assist start-ups comprehensively in their financial journey, offering crucial financial support and guidance.
• Lead the implementation of cutting-edge accounting and computerised financial systems.
• Manage UK financial reporting for various entities, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Contribute to one-off project work, investigations, and occasional client secondments, showcasing your problem-solving skills.
• Review and report on financial information systems, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Foster the growth of your team through training, reviews, and mentorship.
• Demonstrate your ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing tailored solutions to their unique needs.
• Offer expert advice on a wide range of business subjects, strengthening client relationships

• Accountancy qualification with comprehensive knowledge of Management Accounting.
