Main Job Function
Taking telephone enquiries from clients.
Ordering samples and sending out catalogues, as required.
Preparing and sending out quotations ensuring that gross profit margins are met.
Inputting and placing computer generated purchase orders with suppliers
Inputting sales orders on the computer
Sending out acknowledgements to the client.
Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis to progress orders
Highlighting any problem areas
Updating clients on the progress of their order
Dealing with any queries that may arise
Assisting colleagues, as and when necessary
Maximising sales opportunities when building relationships with clients
Promoting the Company in a professional manner at all times
To undertake special projects, as and when required.
To attend Trade Exhibitions, as and when required.
Candidate Profile
Educated to A level standard or equivalent and above
Minimum three years office/admin experience
Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills
Computer literate with Word, Email, Internet, Excel skills.
Some knowledge of computer generated artwork desirable but not essential
Additional Information:
Full training will be given on the Sales Order Processing System
£16,000 -17,000 per annum
Hours: 9.00 - 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch
