Job Description

Desk research to identify market trends and conference opportunitiesFact finding regarding events and researching ‘hot topics’Deciding on the angle of the event Identifying and sourcing senior level speakers from leading industry companiesSelling the benefits, i.e.; kudos of speaking and promoting their company Working with Sales & Marketing to ensure good lists, support and copy is producedAnalysing previous events and competitor eventsWriting copy for brochures and blogs etc... Monitoring sales and marketing activity, managing the budget
Attending and running the Event  European and occasional International travelResolving issues and extensive client supportNetworking for forthcoming events.  Person Specification:Expert; Time management , verbal, written and problem solving skills
Must be confident and resilient
Graduate with some work experience, events experience would be advantageous Experience in sales, journalism, events or research would be an advantage
Able to grasp technical concerns, with a thirst for knowledge
Good commercial acumen Good understanding of the supply chain and the end user /supplier relationship
Good IT skills, including experience of AV and sound equipment Additional Information:Salary: £22,000 - £24,000
8.45am - 5pm Monday to Friday
